8:00am – 12:00 – Full Drum Line Rehearsal in the band room
Tuesday, August 10th
6:00 – Music Booster Board Meeting – Review Budget, booster guidelines and get ready for the new school year.
Thursday, August 12th
8:30 am – Marching Band Leadership report to Leadership Camp. No drum line or dance team practice this day. Leadership, please bring your personal calendars and wear comfortable band camp attire.
5:00 pm -Instrument Check Out for all members – Please bring any instruments that you might already have to as we must reissue instruments and update new registration forms. Yes, even if you have previously checked out an instrument, it must be checked back in prior to the new school year and then reissued.
5:30 – Registration begins – there will be uniform fitting this week. The boosters ask for a uniform dry-cleaning fee of $150.00. This fee must be received or partial payment prior to being fitted. You may bring a check with you upon registration.
6:00 – 7:30 - Mandatory Parent/Student Meeting in Cafeteria or band room. The rooms are next to each other so there will not be confusion the night of arrival.
Friday, August 13th
8:30 am – 4:00 p m Full Marching Band Camp
- wear comfortable light clothing
- bring plenty of water
- bring $3.00 for lunch. Your leadership will be creative with your lunch plans today.
- Bring your instrument, lyre and flip folder
- Wear sneakers, keds….NOT FLIP FLOPS. For your safety, we ask that you do not march barefooted.
Monday, August 16th
8:30 am – 5:00 p m – Full Marching Band Camp – we will stress marching fundamentals, music and dance routines today. Pending day events, we hope to set chart one today.
Tuesday, August 17th
8:30 am – 5:00 p m – Full Marching Band Camp – we will stress marching fundamentals, music and dance routines today. We will continue with learning the half-time show.
Wednesday, August 18th
8:30 am – 5:00 p m – Full Marching Band Camp – we will stress marching fundamentals, music and dance routines today. We will continue with learning the half-time show.
Thursday, August 19th
8:30 am – 3:00 p m - Full Marching Band Camp – we will stress marching fundamentals, music and dance routines today. We will continue with learning the half-time show.
3:00 - Change into performance attire
3:40 – Line Up in March In Formation
4:00 – Full Marching Band performs at New Student Orientation – once the performance is completed, new students will remain with your parents/guardians for the remainder of the Orientation.
4:30 – Clean Band Room and enjoy your weekend.
